Regarding Environmental Permits To Be Filed For The
Proposed New Power Transmission Project for Hancock County

What: The Company is hosting a PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING regarding a proposed new 115 kV transmission line from Ellsworth to Trenton and supporting substation. The Company is preparing to file an application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection for requisite permits on or about March 15. Representatives from Bangor Hydro-Electric Company will be available to explain the project and provide an opportunity for public comments and questions. All are welcome to attend.
