Bangor Hydro-Electric Company Names Communications Officer

Bangor, ME--Bangor Hydro-Electric Company is pleased to announce that Susan Faloon has been hired as the new Communications Officer. Susan is a Maine native and has worked in both radio and television in the area for about 12 years.

Susan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Maine in 2003. She is also a graduate of the New England School of Communications, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Broadcast Communications in 1997. Susan also studied Business at Husson College.

Prior to joining Bangor Hydro Electric Company, Susan worked as News Director at Clear Channel Radio and Program Director for WVOM, News Anchor and Reporter at Cumulus Broadcasting, and Executive Producer at WABI-TV 5.

"I'm very pleased to be a part of this company. I look forward to continuing my relationships with the local media by being a resource for them and delivering important information to the customers of Bangor Hydro Electric Company in a timely manner," said Faloon.

"Bangor Hydro is currently involved in many very exciting projects that will benefit the customers," said Faloon. "For example, the Storm Restoration Project will focus on improving the time it takes to restore outages during storms and major events. This is just one example of how Bangor Hydro is working to provide the best possible electric service, and I'm happy to be a part of that."

Susan lives in Bangor with her son, Camden.
