Bangor Hydro Electric Company Announces New Manager of Field Operations

Bangor Hydro Electric Company is pleased to announce it has hired Kevin M. Kenny as its new Manager of Field Operations. Kenny will manage all field operations departments, including the line, electrical, facilities and fleet departments.

Kenny previously worked as Vice President of North American Operations at Cooper-Standard Automotive in Auburn Hills, MI, where he was responsible for financial and operational performance of 17 manufacturing facilities. He was Vice President of Sales and Engineering at MacLean Vehicle Systems in Rochester Hills, MI, where he coordinated and managed global sales and marketing efforts. He also was VP of Operations and General Manager with the North American Components Division at ZF Lemforder Corp. in Brewer, where he managed three manufacturing facilities.

"Returning here to Maine, having lived here previously for nearly 30 years, is certainly a "homecoming" experience," said Kenny. "It's very obvious to me that Bangor Hydro is a great company. Not unlike the automotive industry, our customers and employees have deservingly high expectations."

Kenny plans to explore and understand the inner workings of the people and processes that have made BHE a success. "I will then identify meaningful ways in which I can contribute to the continuous improvement process," he said. "The bottom line here is we're all challenged to meet or exceed expectation - externally as well as internally!" Kenny earned a B.S. in Business Management from Husson College and is currently working toward his M.S. in Business Management from Husson.

Kenny resides in Hampden with his wife Vicki. The couple has two grown daughters, one lives in Maine and one in Florida.
